Looking for advice on a few game cameras for around the farm property.

So what I have is 100 acres in SE Ohio - about half wooded - half unused pasture and hay fields.

Ideally - I’d like to put a few cameras around to both see what’s lurking about and to just lmk how f there’s anyone out there that shouldn’t be there. To that end thinking a mix of a couple of better cameras with cell capability (placed nearer access points - there’s a partially abandoned township road immediately behind me that would be a good spot to set a camera or 2 I think to catch any potential trespassers) and then a couple over near the more densely wooded areas to set on the edges to see what might be coming in/out of the woods.

Cell is nice because I can monitor remotely - but of course it cost $$. That’s why I am thinking a couple of cell and then a few more “low tech” - more views equals a better idea of what’s wandering around.

TIA for suggestions - if I can order on Amazon all the better.

If you have decent cell coverage in the area, buckeye and reconyx work pretty well.

Here's a second vote for Reconyx. They're pricey, and the interface seems antiquated, but they just plain work.
I also have several Brownings, but they have been hit and miss lately, with their cell cams being mostly a miss. Their Spec Ops HP4 was also also a miss, but the HP5 has been better. Stay away from their micro series cams. The Browning cams without the viewscreen tend to have better reliability. I run all black/no-glow IR so as not to spook game or possibly let trespassers know there's a cam there.
Haven't seen anything good with Cabelas cams since their first gen. Their second and third gen ones were horrible.
Trailcampro does a nice job with reviews. They also provide better returns and warranties past what the manufacturers give (except for Reconyx, which already comes with a five year warranty).

    Thanks

Looking at Reconyx now - yea, they are pricey - but at $5 a month for basic cell service - looks like I make that cost back in what some of the cheaper cameras charge per month.

Bonus it’s US made and looks like it will actually last more than a few months.

I use Tactacam Gen 2.0, have 5 now and wouldn’t use anything else. Great camera

THIS. I have used several brands and now only use the Tacticam, of several generations.

Just picked up a Bushnell as my buddy has a bunch he has had for years and is quite happy. Still in the box though.

I currently have a Spypoint but it is inside and always plugged in. Have heard others have had issues with theirs in weather and their CS stinks.
It work great inside my cabin and I don’t have a monthly fee because it never gets triggered thankfully.
