Hi there. I actually have a TRD Pro Sequoia but figured since it’s close to the Tundra I’d ask on here. Usually you guys can help me so here goes. I put a 3” lift on my truck a year ago and 35” tires. I have some rubbing but have had no other issues. Just within the last week I’ve started hearing a clicking noise when I back out of my driveway or drive slow and when turning. I took it to a shop where they drove it for a few minutes but said it was nothing. Last night it was worse. I included a video of the first time this started happened. It seems louder now.

How are your CV joint angles? Typically, if one lifts their rig more than 2.5", you will likely face issues with axles and driveshafts...though the later not as much. To correct said issues, you probably need some Upper Control Arms to get your alignments back in spec...everything is amplified with larger, heavier tires too...

Start with the simple things, first check all your wheels for loose wheel weights. I had a jeep once where the dealer replace the driveshaft and other parts under warranty, clicking continued. Ended up being a loose wheel weight flapping.

Clicking like that can also come from something stuck in one of the tires, rock, nail, whatever....clicks everytime it hits the pavement.

And if you have not, grease the zerk fittings in the driveshafts if your vehicle has them. So start there and while you are checking those things just look around for anything abnormal, pull and push on suspension/steering parts, see if there is any play or noise.

Yes. I actually had the parts for it put on for the skid plate last month. All those popping and creaking sounds went away. They are slowly coming back. ‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️

Just had my battery replaced recently. After a few weeks I started hearing a rattle when I hit a bump. Turns out the hold down loosened.
