My Friday

 

Nice! Monday number two here. Feeling more awake now that I did 5 hours ago. How about you? All pepped up because the weekend is coming?

 

Yep, that sure does help!
Watched some football with my operator, ate some good Mexican food.
No food coma though so I'm feeling light on my feet.

 

Some social fun and good food is always a plus. Mexican is a good choice for avoiding a food coma, I think. Can't really think of a time it's put me in snooze mode. Italian on the other hand, straight to unbuttoning the pants and napping on the couch.

 

I think I could eat Mexican food for almost every meal and not get tired of it. I do always eat too much though.

 

Yep, especially when there's only 2 of us in the whole damn dam.

Lol, yeah Italian for sure. With the portion sizes Mexican joints give you, I can definitely enter a food coma if I'm not careful

 

Oh, I definitely eat too much. I'm fat for a reason.

It may just be what I eat from a Mexican menu. Carne Asada is a favorite, I like tacos and enchiladas, etc. Not as big a fan of tamales, and I think that those would definitely do the coma. The Cancun Platter is another favorite if I want something a bit different.

Oh yeah, that sounds awesome.
I usually go for Carne Asada or some seafood dish also

 

Do you prefer corn or flour tortillas?

 

Corn, of course.

 

98% flour for me. Enchiladas are corn, for sure, but everything else I prefer flour. Mainly a texture thing.

I get the texture thing, my wife thinks the same.

 

Damn I’m hungry for some tacos now.

Don't get me wrong, I'll eat both. I'll just choose flour if it's an option. I should also clarify the texture aversion only applies to soft corn tortillas, as crunchy tacos are always corn and always awesome.

 

Agree on that!

 

Or crunch wrap supreme’s from the bell that have both at the same time. Not great but gets the job done.

 

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you guys don't get lengua in your tacos?

Ah, that'd depend on prep. If it doesn't still have the "skin" on it and I wasn't told before hand, I think I'd be fine. Generally for tacos, I want ground beef. It's what I grew up with, so that's what I think of for a taco.

 

Well when you put it like that, it sounds gross! Lol
It's diced up and doesn't resemble tongue. There are a ton of authentic taco trucks in Central WA and most of them offer it

 

But I'll eat the heck out of some fried chicken gizzards. They're basically fried chicken flavored gummy bears.

 

That's the stuff!!
