Loving the look and sympathize with the research; although it can be agonizing.

I have a '20 Silver Limited and am waiting for my new Fox shocks and color matched BW OE flares to arrive...so spent the weekend looking at tires and wheels.

Thought I narrowed it down to Toyo OC A/T III 285/60R20 with stock wheels (+60), but am a little worried about rubbing on UCA and found the stock wheels are 20x8 and the tire min is 8.5. Digging the methods w/ +25 offset and honestly like the look of 18 over 20 (more tire).

Nice setup, keep sharing the research and decisions!

Thank you! I messed up on the Fox shocks yet again, local shop had them in stock and I didnt order quick enough and poof, whole inventory sold out.

As for tires, depends what you're using your truck for. I listed my hobbies in original post so my build perfectly suits my needs (so far - wink wink). I do love the Toyos. Relatively quiet around town and they were awesome in the mud on my last camping trip. Can't wait to get them in the snow. 18's will give you a better ride over the 20's for sure. Load rating will play a part too. Dunno where you live but just be sure to get tires that are "three peak mountain" rated so theyre good in the snow if you get that type of weather.

And regarding the Bushwhackers, mine are the Extend-A-Flare so the middle width with 1.5" wheel coverage was perfect for my +25 offset. If you want to keep the +60 offset you would want the OE style which are .75" wheel coverage so slimmer and wont stick out past the tire. But do some research and measure...

    Good luck. Send pictures.

I went with the .75 OE style flares...stuck in FedEx somewhere.

FWIW Sparks has the OE Fox in stock, or at least they did last week (make sure to use tundras.com for 5% off). The rears are out everywhere...Accutune had the 2.5 rears w/ DSC in stock which is what I went with (adventure tuned). They're getting some non-DSC in the near future; also some Fox 0-3 which requires an aftermarket UCA. You can have them swap spacer and spring during tune to get them to the 0-2 which works with stock UCA. All options I considered.

I'll post pics when things start getting put on :D

Good on the flares! It will make a big difference in stance and look. What I wanted was to just start with the regular Fox 2.5 Coilovers for the front, and then in a month or two add the 2.5s with reservoir for the rear. Accutune used to be closer to me in Los Angeles but has since moved down to San Diego area. Would they do just the front? How much was your service at Accutune, if you don't mind me asking? Thanks!

I'd suggest giving them a call to work out the details, but I'm sure they'll just do fronts (I got rears only). The tune is included with the cost of the shocks (~ $1,850) with free shipping. They can add DSC later (at least the on the 2.5 resi), but it's more expensive than initial cost difference.

I need to install or have it done as I'm not local.

Nice! I’m running the Toyo’s too in the same size… just wondering what psi you’ve been running. Thx

Those are beautiful wheels. Im currently running them at 45 for around-town driving. Seem to get decent gas mileage at that level.

I know it’s an older threat, but the chalk test really worked well for me. Not sure how to upload the YouTube video though….
