How well did they end up balancing? Did you have to use beads?

One of the four tires required a gargantuan amount of weight to balance and obviously has something wrong with it. I contacted the place I bought them from and confirmed what I already knew, that I would have to jump through a ton of hoops to get a replacement including shipping back the damn tire with no mention of sending one out first so I guess I would just have my vehicle sit in until the replacement came??? Anyway I decided I'm going to use it as the spare and buy one more winter tire and hope it's good. As a spare it'll be fine considering it only starts to shake really bad at illegal speeds otherwise it's manageable.

While I was cooking along in the U.P. yesterday I hit a monster of a crater on the right side. Surprised that I didn't do any damage to the tires and or truck. The snow completely hid it and you know it's a hell of a hit when your butt compresses the cushion and hits the seat frame. I need to hurry up and get bump stops considering that I find them at a minimum at least once each time I go in the woods and usually much more. Also, it's going to be a long wait for winter to be over (because working on vehicles when it's 20 degrees out is hell) to install the leaf springs (which I greatly hope don't give me all kinds of take off shutter and vibration issues.)

I guess I should clarify a bit as well. Keep the Limo Pro AND get a Solar Octane Pro.

Now I know you'll balk at this, but hear me out, this will help you. You have stated your goal is to keep the Limo for a "long time" right? First, if you demolish your credit with a second vehicle, you HAVE to keep it. Second, you'll be so car poor you won't spend any money on mods at all! This will save you from yourself.

Some of us find our bump stops often because of our PreRunner dreams but we don't have a prerunner budget, man. Not all of us win a banger of a gift card :p:p

Lol, I’m just goading you so you’ll actually do it! I’ve also shown I don’t know shit about the Tacoma’s suspension, though I do recommend trying harder to win gift cards. It’s great.

You know you're a Wisconsinite when 32 degrees and sunny qualifies it as a nice day to do stuff outdoors. Installed my cheap blemish bed mat from eBay. For half the price of OEM I'd say it was worth it. The pictures are misleading in that there are no cutouts for the d-rings so I had to cut those myself. Also from being rolled up the front isn't laying flat although I'm sure with time it will lay down. Also installed tufskinz mudflaps. If I paid new retail I would have been disappointed but from what I paid second hand they are alright.

You'd be disappointed with the tufskinz? Pics? Elaboration? I'm still hunting for flaps.

They are extremely cheap feeling. When I did the flex test they took a fair amount of force to bend and I was a tad nervous there was a chance I would do damage. I'm still not convinced they can withstand a straight drop onto them like from off a rock or ledge. As far as looks I suppose functional would be a good word, definitely not something someone would specifically notice (like none of my coworkers are going to say, "Hey, I see you got new mudflaps!") I will concede they are just the plain black so some writing like the 4WD option in your color of choice would liven them up. Definitely overpriced though, the markup must be huge.
