2016 tundra seats in a 2010

    Looking for some wiring help I’m putting some 3rd gen leather seats in my 2010. They are not heated or cooled. And I can splice the yellow wiring harness I can even get the seat belt alarm wires hooked up but the wires for the position of the seat these are the wires I need help with thanks

    Yellow plugs and wiring harnesses throughout the truck are related to the airbags. This is an industry standard. If the loom or plug are yellow it's for the SRS (Supplemental Restraint System).

    I would highly recommend not cutting into and modifying that stuff. It won't have anything to do with functions like power seat adjustment or temperature management systems.

    If the plugs don't match between the truck and new seats I would map the pins in each plug carefully and make an adaptor harness with plugs instead of cutting off the truck plug and wiring on one from a donor truck.

    Otherwise, this sounds like a cool project.
