Why would I want to do it? What kind of benefits do we get out of it?

Hopefully they will heed our feedback that we are more concerned with the truck itself than their virtue signaling or climate initiatives. Unfortunately it didn't allow for much real feedback on the product.

What, you don't like working for FREE, for Toyota?
Just like [most]other "free" services online - you are the product or worker, enticed by the prospect of a "gift" or "a prize."

In the past businesses had to conduct their own R&D/etc or pay for feedback. Now, the sheep of the Internet generation gladly do 1/2 the work for them, with a smile on their faces.

I'm sure someone here will try to dispute this, by saying it's beneficial to help the product/company for the betterment of all, and while true, it still doesn't change the fact that you ARE in fact working for them ... for free.
    For what it's worth.

I'm glad you caught the sarcasm in my quote. I love our IT department but I hate them so much too!
