Install was a PIA in the driveway. The instructions sucks.

That said, go slow, use as many bolts as you can. You may have to buy some.extra from the hardware store. We didn't use all of some size and RCI confirmed it was still okay, as the driver side and passenger side holes in the frame are different. Careful of the brake lines and clips you removed making sure to put the sliders under them.

Once they're on....you're going to love them. One of the best mods/upgrades we did on the truck. They are solid.

Well, Dammitzon strikes again, guys. Bent bracket and my metal working tools are unavailable!

And take heart, folks - not everything is screwed up in this country: N-Fab treating customers right and sending me a new set.

N-FAB EPYX. Fit pretty snug to the truck out of the box, but I notched the bolt holes on the brackets and got it even tighter.

Thanks, that is exactly what I needed. Perfect timing too, just got on this morning reading posts while drinking coffee.

This has been a great thread, although it seems @NorcalHntr got sick of our strong opinions from the start; totally ghosted us. I will say, from his original request, these podium steps seem like a godsend for the height challenged rather than straight nerf bars or purpose-built sliders. Going to see how the 14-ga. N-Fabs hold up on light trails for camping. I don’t imagine they can take too much trail abuse (being stepped, how they mount and material), but for the 90% towing and hauling uses, they seem like the best fit for me.

Anyone using AMP steps with Tech 12 volts remote start? Tryin to wrap my head around multiple ODBII integrations.

Not using the remote start but I am using multiple OBDII installs. I just bought a splitter. Nothing interferes. The only issue is routing the original OBDII output and splitter input somewhere where it won't sag or tangle.

From what I understand, be care of what kind of OBDII splitter you use. They are not all created equal. I could be wrong but that was what I was led to believe.
