Holy shit, final update even though I know you guys never cared about the remote start anyway lol. Just spent 2 hours on the phone, with an hour 40 of it talking to an engineer for N2 designs. He had me try each and every single thing under the sun and asked me a hundred questions and I was driving all over my town. We arrived at the conclusion that I live in the Twilight zone and that simply no matter what I am unable to use their product.....

Last time I'm going in here! As far as I know that's not an option to do the factory one, I believe only if you orderedthe premium off-road package can you use the factory remote start. If you find out something different I would love to hear but I'm pretty certain that's how she goes

Also I can confidently say that I am an absolute professional at installing the N2 designs remote start now.

I never understood the hype of push start....

I've driven vehicles with it and don't care for it myself

I don't have remote start but toyota dropped the ball by shutting the truck off when you open the door.
    Lame!

So where do I fall when my response to nearly everything I see in the news or around me is “let it burn!”?

I'll tell you exactly why I love it. Living in northern Wisconsin like I do, and doing the things that I do, it is great. Being able to go out to my truck with big bulky gloves on and not have to try to reach in my pocket for keys like when coming out from work or from shopping or whatever when it's 20 below. Also I find myself off-road constantly and the sound of keys jingling and slapping everywhere on rough roads always drove me insane so not having those flapping around also makes me very happy. Last reason is the fact that I have been known to misplace things, but if the keys never have to leave my pocket then I'm never going to set them down somewhere stupid.

I can understand that. My mom was bitching about not having the push to start when she got her Tundra... Among other things . I told her that she was bougie and she needed to suck it up if she wanted to have a Tundra. Now she loves her truck

These are all of my reasons as well. Except it's pretty rare for me to see 20 below.

I did find a few elk today, this guy was a very unique 2x7. The dagger on the left side was probably 3' long!

Had to suffer through family pictures tonight but got some pretty cool views of the west end of the Superstition mountains. Crazy how much the lighting changes in 20-30 mins this time of year.

Maybe the same place my high school history teacher told me I'd end up when he signed my yearbook (props, Coach Lee!):

We use to do some camping in Zion in November (less crowds, etc.) and we'd get a very similar effect as sun was going down...

The only correct response to that is

I appreciate everything you said. But you lost me at 20 below. The coldest it's ever been here is -3. My snot froze to my mustache.
The coldest I've ever experienced was skiing at Snowshoe. -20 with the wind. You couldn't ski without googles. They said your eyeballs would freeze. No thanks. Two runs and beers in the lodge the rest of the day. When it gets below 60F I'm wearing a hoodie. I'll take heatstroke every time

Yeah, there's been days when they've canceled school just purely because of how cold it is. Like no snow, no icy unsafe roads, just straight up lethal temperatures. Look at this chart for lowest temp each year

Screw a heat stroke! I prefer 4 seasons and my winter to be cold.

Think they make the C and T lines on covid tests a red-pink color so people can’t cheat? Cuz if it was a black line I’d be grabbing a sharpie…and filling the C in. Get me out of this trip
