So I experience left front tire rub on the mudflap when turning left sharp or even half way really. There is no rub on the right side when turning right even all the way. I was looking at the suspension on the left side and all is intact and doesn't appear to be an issue. I had the front aligned after I made the purchase last year, and that helped but the rub is more noticeable lately. If I remove the mudflap there is more clearance since the flap is gone. It is more of an annoyance than anything but just wondering if it could be something mechanical that needs replaced to stop it altogether. I am running 35's with a 3 inch left. Any tips on what you may have done if you had this issue would be great. I didn't want to run it without mudflaps with winter and stones and stuff that could fly up onto the fenders.

i'm running a hair less tire than you (34.6") with a 2.5" level and was scrubbing pretty bad. I was able to fix the rub and keep my flaps by just trimming them slightly. On a black truck i personally couldn't go without.

I have thought about that but haven't decided on that yet. I am also going to look into some other options for different mud flaps.

    Not an option for me.

i considered the same but the issue is the even if you do find new flaps (be them Rokblokz or the like) the mounting points don't change and in my case that was where the tire seemed to touch. i'll shoot a photo for you when i get a chance and it might assist in your decision.
Regardless of fit, aftermarket flaps might still be desirable as if you have aftermarket wheels or spacers the stock flaps don't cover for the added offset.

Adjust your caster more positive, which will move the wheel forward and away from the flap. You’ll need to do an alignment afterwards as well.

Thanks for the tip. The mud flaps that were on the truck were not stock, there are aftermarket. I order a new set of weathertech flaps that look as though they may fit better. We will see how they do. The ones on the rear look like stock.

I will look into this. I am not sure how to do that so I will have to take it somewhere to do this. I have a guy that I am pretty sure can do this for me and then do an alignment afterwards. Thanks for the tip. The front suspension is tight so nothing is loose that would show some play that could contribute to this issue.

Some alignment shops will intentionally put more positive caster on one of the tires, I forgot which one, to compensate for the road crown.

    fingers crossed!
the rear ones seemingly never cause an issue which is probably why they left the stockers.

Very true. I will see how these new ones work.
