I have an Old Man Emu HD Spring kit on my truck and have sold the cabover camper and now have an ordinary shell with about 300# of platform and gear in the bed. The ride is now really stiff. So, I bought a deaver kit thinking I could remove the two overload springs off the bottom of the leaf pack and put on the deaver. Question is should I do that or just remove one or two overload springs w/o the deaver at all? Any ideas? Thanks in advance,

    Jonathan

@ColoradoTJ thoughts? jtr was asking for a bit of help without a response in here yet.
I don't have much experience on the weighted back end with leaf springs.

Moved to suspension for more exposure.

I had a similar issue with one of my Tacoma trucks. Had a custom leaf pack for a constant load in the bed. A few years later that load changed and tried messing around with removing/adding springs. Finally had to just buy another spring pack since I had spent so much time with poor results.
