Backup beeper and emergency braking off by default when towing?

I just turned over 5k miles on my 2022 Tundra and while there are lots of great things about it, reversing with a trailer is extremely annoying for two reasons:

• First, the backup sensor detects the trailer and beeps. All. The. Time.
  
  
• Second, if I reverse at any speed over a crawl the emergency braking 'feature' kicks in and stops the truck because it thinks I'm going to hit the trailer.
  

The fact that the truck knows there's a trailer connected makes these even more annoying. The truck adjusts the blind spot monitor and is using the profile for that trailer that I set up, so it shouldn't be alerting when I reverse with the trailer connected. I'm also aware that these 'features' can be temporarily turned off - every time you put the truck in reverse for the backup sensor and every time you turn the truck on for the emergency braking - and that's way too frequently. I want to set the option once and be done for the rest of the time that I own the truck.

So, does anyone know how to set it so that when there's a trailer connected, these features are automatically turned off? I'm pretty sure I've been through all the menus and I didn't see a way to do this, so I'm probably looking for something beyond that like a software change, jumper to install, or a particular wiring harness to unplug.

I tow fairly regularly so it's been an exercise in emotional stability to not lose my sh*t over this.

4 pin connector doesn't automatically turn off the braking, apparently a 7 pin will (can't confirm, just what I've read on here).

There's a Park button to the left of the steering wheel that you have to hit to turn off the automatic braking. I just figured this out myself. Hasn't done it when I've hit that button first.

 

Ah... so maybe splicing a 7-pin onto my trailer instead of the 4-pin that's on there would get rid of the braking. Or maybe shunting/jumping some of the connectors on the 7-pin.... would need to know what pin or pins in the 7-pin makes the braking go away

 

My friend and I have talked about running a 4 pin to 7 pin connector to see if that helps. For now. If I'm going to tow, I just hit that button and it's been fine.

 

My pontoon boat trailer is a 5 pin connector and it does that shit all time backing up. The truck will even sense the surge brake and tell me there is something in the way and cut the power on the truck. And then the dumbass autobrake makes you put it into park before moving again. I'd love to know how to turn that all off.

One last thing that drives me nuts is if you open your door to look back when backing up it hits the brakes on you and you have to reset into Park before moving again. So annoying. The jolt always makes me feel like I hit something.

I've tried the parking sensor button and it doesn't change anything. I've even tried turning off all the safety stuf fin the dash menu and it still does it.
