Went to go do my transfer case fluid change and found this today!

Is that likely what I'm looking at here? It doesn't seem to be a tough repair job; unhook the drive shaft, pull the old seal, carefully press on the new, make some paint marks along the way so everything lines back up the same?

Also how likely would this be Bad News Bears™ to drive to the shop as-is? If I get a confirmation I'm covered under my limited warranty from recently buying this truck, I'd just take it there again, but it's a good hour drive potentially.

Well if anyone was curious, this is indeed a leaky output shaft seal on the backside of the transfer case. $40 seal, $50 in 2qts 75W transfer case fluid I already had in hand for the change I was about to do anyway, done deal.
