no idea thankfully a lot of stuff I had leftover from my prior tundra and the rest of it I traded product for- I luckily work for a company who people love our gear. I originally wanted the 6.5 ft bed and held out for one, but caved for the shorty when it was all I could find.

trd pro doesn’t do it for me, never has. In the past it was a sr5 with some badges and decent shocks, now it’s a limited.

The digi camo trim is super poser in my eyes- hate it.

Trd pro wheels are cool, but want higher offset and lighter weight.

the trd pro shocks/ lift are sub par, I’d be taking them off for something else

the trd badging is essentially a $5k up charge, would rather have the 1794 comforts for about the same price.

I have to have the 10 way seats, the 8’s are shit in my opinion and don’t fit me well (5’10, 195lbs).

I want the creature comforts of the platinum, 1794 and the off-road of the trdpro, so the 1794 off-road is therefore the ticket and runs circles around the pro the way I have it configured.

I'll keep an eye out for ya when you're out and about. I'm in Nampa and work in Boise. Truck looks SICK! How does it compare to the 5.7?

If you leave those off, are they technically functional?

They serve no purpose, but if left off you will have holes in the hood until you replace it. Doesn't feel worth it to me just to remove them

Wouldnt go back to the prior gen or the 5.7L no matter what, such a smooth system and much needed update. I have owned a pile of 07-19's and am really happy where this truck landed. Could it have been better- yes, but is it damn good now- yes!

Is the 1794 side badge that you replaced with a platinum badge simply taped on, ie if I just removed it would there be any holes?

someone asked for part numbers - that would be super helpful if you had them as I find the parts ordering system bewildering.

    great looking truck!

Zero holes behind the entire emblem, it’s all taped on (poorly) from the factory. The 1794 or platinum badge is plastic welded into the rest of the badge but pops out easily. New 3m vhb tape has been solid for almost a year

Someone asked earlier if the hybrid turns on/off while above 60 mph - yes it does. But, it's such a great system, unless you're watching the RPM's, you'd never know. It also gets better mileage for everything when you are using the Assisted Cruise Control. It knows and predicts I think when it's coasting and goes to battery sooner then I can get it, no matter what I try, so mileage is better overall. My mileage was about 15-16 or so prior to 4000 miles, once I hit that, it's been between 19 and 21 consistently.

DexterL, Very nice build!!! I agree on the 1794 looks and features over the TRD, especially the interior and comfort.

OK guys, I have to be honest. I've had my 2022 1795 Hybrid for a month now. I like it, I personally haven't had any issues, but I'm left asking if I made the right choice? I'm noticing a lot of plastic and the want to do so much more customization to make it look a little more aggressive. My eyes are wondering towards the raptors. I went with Toyota for the reliability portion and I'm not sure if that's applicable to the new gens. Maybe only time will tell, but what is everyone's thought?

    Be easy one me.

Tundra 1794 offroad VS Ford Raptor?

Tough to compare the two, reliability for 3rd gen Tundra seems to be debatable with a few people hitting higher mileage. My '23 Raptor has been pretty much flawless, so was my '21. Drive what makes you happy, not what the internet says.

You didn’t pay Raptor price for the 1794. There’s a reason why the Raptor is more expensive.

There is not much of a difference in price for what I'm looking at to be fair. I do have the 1794 Offroad package.

I guess it depends how it’s equipped. I haven’t been able to find a Raptor under 89k and most I have seen in my area are between 90-100k+.
I’m not sure what you paid for your Tundra but my new 1794 hybrid is 73k non TRD. That’s a big difference…too me!

Fair but I'm not looking at a brand new Raptor. It would be a 2021 or 2020. No more than 75k for sure.

Got it, but you’re comparing apples to oranges. An older truck then what you have now with more or less features depending on how it is equipped and the mileage factor. If you were to compare the same year, equal features or as close as you can get, engine option and miles. I still believe the Raptor is going to be significantly more but you never know…you may find a needle in the haystack.
