Curious to see if anyone is running wheel adapters.

I originally ran 18x9 +18mm offset method MR314 on my tacoma. Wasn't a fan of the proportions of the 18x9's and swapped them out; now they collect dust. The methods come in a 6x139.7 bolt pattern which will not fit on 2.5 gen tundras with the 5x150 bolt pattern.

Now im sure the idea of running wheels adapters is frowned upon right next to tripping children, but I can't do much with 4 large paper weights at the moment. I'd like to save myself the trouble of lead times and shipping. Ultimately will end up selling them, but wanted some more input.

I'm not running any wheel adapters, but did run Spidertrax wheel spacers for a short amount of time. However, I don't see why not, running this route as long as you have a reputable set of spacers as well as ensuring that everything is torqued to spec.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes?

sell them, get the right wheels. 5x150 will handle more abuse than 6x139.7 anyway, why downgrade?
