Finally got my truck bed LEDs, hood LEDs, and reverse flood lights installed today. All my interior and exterior bulb replacements to VLEDs is also done.

So, next up is an LED light bar and flood lights for the A-pillars.

I’m absolutely not willing to pay Baja prices.

Looking for brightness and reliability as my top priority. Highly prefer a combo spot/flood pattern on the lightbar. A reasonable extent of water & weather proofing.

I think I’m leaning towards roof mounted for the lightbar, but not sure yet. Open minded to putting into the hood bulge or the front bumper/grill. Would appreciate any pointers or insights on how to decide. I do not have a winch or custom bumper, and while I want one at some point, it will not be in the near future.

Given a choice with all other things being equal, will always choose American made.

    Suggestions? Thoughts?

I have been really pleased with my lights from Diode Dynamics. I have SSC2s for my A pillars and their behind the grille kit with 2 12" bars that are wired into my high beams. I also have the replacement fogs.

Got them all from @memario1214 at Hotshot Offroad.

What do you plan to use the lights for? Just for show or do you have a specific purpose?

No. Off-roading and better lighting in the really really dark places I drive.

Even if you don't go with Baja lights, go check out there lighting zones. It will help you dial in exactly what light pattern and where to place it to get the results you want.

    No personal experience with RC's.

I have some 9" 14k? Chinese lights on my bull bar that have held up minus the powder coat for the last 4yrs or so. Bought off Amazon.

Most LED's are Chinese sourced IMO.
