Hey tundra community. I got a leak coming from one of the two red hose. Can anyone identify what those hose are for? I’m just hoping is the water from AC…it has a pinkish color but somewhat odorless. thanks everyone in advance!

Pink and mostly odorless would likely be coolant, and those look like coolant lines to me. Have you tried tightening those clamps?

I don't know if any hoses are red from the factory, so those might be inadequate replacement hoses. Not sure with the pics, but that looks like it's under the truck, and possibly the transmission cooler lines.

It looks like they were replaced before and from what I can tell, it looks like the coolant is coming from the end of the hose and running down?

Looks like the infamous heat exchanger or the warmer/"cooler" ... lol
We need another cooler thread. I miss those! :D

btw, I would change the screw clamps with constant tension clamps. That might be the cause of the problem or the leak. You will never see Toyota or other car manufacturers use the screw type clamps for certain type of hoses especially coolant, atf, etc. with a wide fluctuating temperature range. They could leak for one minute, then stop, then ...

if you zoom in on your pictures, you will see what kind of clamp I'm talking about in the background.

I would replace the actual hoses too with the black OEM hoses, I wouldn’t be comfortable with the slight kink in those hoses (doubt it’s detrimental, but why risk it)

As everyone else stated already, definitely coolant going to the heat exchanger and definitely not the correct hoses or clamps. I'll be under my truck later doing an oil change and can snap a pic if what it should look like.

Thanks, going to take everyone advice! Will change out the hoses and clamps soon. By the way would I need to drain all the coolant first before switching the hoses? Thanks
