Valhalla Shield

I bought a Valhalla’s Shield 3 months ago, paid $750 and have not receive it yet. Valhalla does not has a formal shop or legal address or even a phone number to call to ask the reason for such a long delay!! Received two emails promised deliver it month ago and did not comply. It looks like an scam

 

No scam there. Just a busy guy. I got my plates through him and am a happy customer. 3 months seems to be a standard wait time, especially if you paid to have them powder coated

 

Obviously you are new to the forum but try searching before going off on a rant.

 

I ordered mine in early February after my cats got stolen. Paid up front, plenty of info on here about lead times. In fairness I don’t recall an email informing me of such. I received them in either May or June. Great quality.

 

No scam just busy. Got mine almost 2 years ago and was happy to drive an hour away for them. Tyler is a super nice guy and would buy from him again if he can come up with a skid plate for the Pro Comp.

 

Most Definitely not a scam. Tyler is a straight up dude. He is just a small operation, but he cares about quality. I have Valhalla aluminum shields on my 2014 CM Limited and he even made one for my wife’s ‘21 Landcruiser. I live in Houston AKA cat theft ground zero, so i was able to pick mine up.

 

Definitely not a scam. I ordered mine from him and got them within 2 months even thought he said it would take longer, IIRC. CAT theft is on the rise and so are his orders one could assume.

 

As others have stated, Tyler is the real deal and you will not be disappointed with your plates. I got mine from Tyler and they were worth the wait.

I live in Minnesota and my shields were delivered safely packaged and within a reasonable timeframe. I would (and do) highly recommend the Valhalla Shields. I noticed you have a 2022 Tundra, so the demand for that new product must be overwhelming. Be patient, they are well designed and worth the wait.

 

I am here, I have been busier with personal and work, I am stretched thin and making everything I can happen, I was down pretty much all weekend from getting a piece of aluminum stuck in my eye… I did not ship yesterday, but I am shipping today. I have a boat load of plates now and I just need to get them out. I promise I am not a scam and I will fulfill all orders

It is certainly not a scam..

 

My complaint with Valhalla's Shield ended very well. I met with Tyler, who seemed very responsible guy; he gave me and installed the Shield fro my Tundra 2022. I must admit that the quality far exceeds what was expected (it looks military-proof). Without a doubt, we had a communication problem, and in the end, both parties were able to understand each other.
Vallarta's products are far superior to others I have seen on the market.

 

Let me slide on in here. How many lies are acceptable? If you have your plates and are happy, I see your point of view. Some of us have been given the run around for far too long for it to be a "too busy."

 

I had a great experience with Valhalla. I was patient and waited without bothering Tyler all the time about when my plates would arrive and they did arrive. It took 4.5 months, but that is what I expected based on the ordering thread. Valhalla sells a great product and I’m glad I was patient. If you have the luxury of waiting, I highly recommend.

 

Currently at 4 months of waiting. Ordered a different brand for my wife’s 2022 4Runner and got it in 3 days.

Granted the 4Runner is a design that’s been around for years, but I’m looking forward to see the build quality difference.

 

I recently did my son's 15 4R using the Miller Cats. they looked nice. a smidge thinner than my Valhalla covers.

 

Tyler is a stand up guy, his site says there are long wait times, if he has not met those I am sure he will refund. No need for cranky posts.

 

I'm at five months, and my patience is exhausted. I've sent multiple messages, with no response.

 

He PMed me and said it was shipping this week.

 

Is this the forum for posting reviews based on experience with this vendor, whether they be positive or negative, as long as we are professional and abide by forum rules?

 

Great product, great guy. Absolutely nothing to complain about. I waited 4+ months and was happy to do so. I would do it again !!!

 

Waited it out and glad I did, supported small business, a forum member and really happy with mine.



So much so, I waited to get matching front skid plate too (all are aluminum, powder coated).
