Different front end look

Interestingly on my Toyota app, the avatar for my Platinum looks like this. Has anyone painted out that portion below the grill only? Looks good to me.

 

I had this piece painted with my chrome delete.

 

I love that look. I want that for my TRD Sport.

 

Anything that can make the monstrosity clown face look smaller is a massive plus. We can all just pray that a Sequoia solution comes fast. Judging by the embarrassing sales numbers the grill is a……………….

 

Color matched looks great with that red.

 

Nice truck! In my opinion the chrome mustache looks good with the grille on your truck.

On the TRD grilles I much prefer the brushed aluminum or colour matched mustache.

 

Most of it was spent on the black OEM window trim. Dang, those pieces are expensive!

 

Pretty sure toyota was leading the full truck market in sales for the past few months?

 

just kidding. I do think it looks a lot better with the trim painted. The added LED light bars breaks it up even more.
Anyone have a White Tundra with the same mod?

Yes on the Platinums its a dark chrome which is much nicer vs the bright chrome on every other version. I like how the upper bumper was painted red on the other picture though.

That truck is wicked looking. I just put a deposit down on that same color TRD Sport and was wondering if I would like the color… any more pictures? Where is the SSR thread????

 

Here are a few more pics. There is an SSR thread here somewhere. I've seen it. Love this color. It's dark and muted in low light, but pops in the sun.

 

I must say, this is a very good looking truck. My brother in law has a newer GMC HD in reddish color. It is gorgeous.

Haha people like you are are funny. Wouldn’t consider a Tundra in the past because it was never a good looking truck. Always stayed with the Tacoma. Now Toyota makes the Tundra one of the nicest looking trucks and people like you try to roll back time with plain Jane looking trucks. Look at the Sequoia for instance, they took the nice looking front end and made it look like a truck my grandpa would drive.

 

Looks great, I don't get the Hulk Hogan/Foo Manchu thing TMC has going on right now.
