So I was trying to get a 4wd (just to have in case, not really needed) but found a new 2wd limited for msrp. I LOVE the look of these trucks with the bigger meatier Off Road tires. Something like a KO2 or Nitto Gripper style. What’s the consensus on putting OR tires on a 2 WD? If I could find some performance street tires that had the “square” profile to them I’d go with 22” and those tires. Thoughts?

Im not sure about 22” in wheels profile but I dont see a problem with putting or tire other than the 22” wheel size.

If I went with OR, it would most likely be on 20", maybe even 18"

Althoug i have a 4wd, I mostly drive in 2W in an OR tire on 18” so the 2w vs 4w is really not a factor in this case in my opinion. Go with whatever makes you happy.

My 2014 is 2WD although I have a 2.5 front lift and 1" rear lift.
It had 285/55/20 BFG KOs stock (without the lift) and then I bought 275/60/20 KO2s.

Now running 275/60/20 Goodyear Ultra Terrain from Discount tire.
These are SL-rated in this size instead of the KO2s D-rated and they ride much smoother.
Although they still have the look and tread of an AT tire.
Some of the best tires I've ever bought.

I also want to upgrade the tires on my '22 Limited 2WD to something meatier. The stock tires look like they go on a minivan.
