Putting in parking starts the engine

I drive around and do the errands and every time i put in parking it looks like engine restarts/starts as if there is some feature i need to turn off.

is there a way to turn this behavior so it run normal and not on-off-on-off.

Yeah, wait a couple of seconds before shifting to park and the engine will stay off when you shift to park.

Turn off the auto off/start, button is in the cluster on the left side of the dash.

I turn it off every time I start the truck.
