That's the one I have, it's been great so far. Don't know how long it'll hold up but if it breaks I'll definitely replace it. Makes getting into the bed so much easier.

It's bigger than the AMP one.

I have had the OEM one for 3 years up here in the snow. We use sand on our roads but it sees a lot of snow, melt, snow, melt.

Looks as good as new. A tiny bit of rust starting to show on a few steel parts that I'll touch up in the spring and spray before snow this year.

The metal seems to be powder coated Cast Aluminum. Very Hard, drop the truck on, rock hits are not good for these...ask me how I know.

on my third one. and I will keep replacing them as needed.

bought one from my local toyota dealer, one from Amp and one from Sparks. they are all the same.

I have the AmpStep driver's side rear unit on my 2014 long box Tundra. We don't have salted roads in the PNW. I am real happy with the quality of the product and the mount.
I understand and have seen newer models of this unit that mount on the side of the truck forward of the rear wheel well.

I have had the AMP step on my truck for 3 winters and no issues. They use salt, brine and sand here in Ontario. I just give the joints a shot of fluid film for protection every couple of months in the winter.
