I am looking at the 2023 Tundra limited, 4x4, non-hybrid, 5.5ft bed. I would like to add 2 option packages, but only seem to be able to select one online? The packages are:

    1) "Rear Air Suspension with Options" for $1035.

    2) "Limited PVM Package with options” for $1910.

It seems that I can only select one or the other, not both (automatically removes one package). Would it be possible to order both packages? Side note: I'd prefer not to have any sunroof/panoramic roof.

Here is the direct link to the 2023 build page:
    https://www.toyota.com/configurator/build/step/model/year/2023/series/tundra/

    Thanks for any advice.

You're not going to be able to custom order a Tundra. You tell the dealer the basics of what you're looking for and pay a deposit to get in line. The dealership gets whatever the factory decides to send them and they look through their list and see the first person that is a close fit. They give you the build sheet of what's being sent and you say yes or no to it. The more flexible you are willing to be, the sooner you'll have a VIN with your name assigned to it.

Ok thanks. I just thought it was odd that you couldn't add both packages and then use the "request a quote" button on the summary page to send to the dealer. I understand about allocations, just thought it was odd on the Tundra build page it seems like one or the other...

I've noticed that the web configurations are not a complete list of all of the configurations that come out of the factory. It's possible that they may produce the exact configuration you're looking for, even if the website won't allow it to be quoted that way. But the odds of that exact build ending up with your dealership when you are at the top of the line may be a tough needle to thread. Go talk to your local dealer about what you're looking for. Each dealer gets different configurations allocated based on what they think will sell in each area. They should be able to tell you how rare the config you're looking for will be for them.

Limited PVM Package with Options - $3095. Also comes with leather heated steering wheel which is $150.

    1035 + 1910 + 150 = 3095

Took your advice and I emailed the Toyota salesman who we purchased a Highlander from earlier this year, to see if he had any insight to packages and allocations. Will post when I hear back.

I am pretty sure that builder on the site is tied to your zip code and if the distributor in your area doesn't stock the packages you are looking for it won't let you see it.

You guys have too many options in the US.

In Canada we don't have enough lol. Up you here you only get to pick trim level and TRD packages if they are available on that model. You get what is included and you like it.

I got a response from Toyota, waiting to hear back a response from my local dealer:

“We appreciate your interest in the 2023 Toyota Tundra.

The 'Build & Price' feature on our website, www.toyota.com, is designed to identify vehicles commonly available in a particular area based on the zip code. It displays the most popular model and option combinations available to that area. As such, it is not always possible to build a vehicle to your exact specifications on this website.

Please note, Toyota dealerships are responsible for their own dealer inventory and work with our regional offices to determine what vehicle, transmission, color and option combinations they feel will sell best in their geographical market, and request vehicle allocations accordingly. Because of this, some model configurations and options may not be available in your area, while other options may be available, but only as part of a combination of packages.

We encourage you to contact your preferred dealer to better understand what vehicles are going to be available in the most immediate future. To locate an authorized Toyota dealership by zip code, please visit https://www.toyota.com/dealers/.

Your comment has been documented at our National Headquarters under your case number. If we can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact us.”

So I’ve tried accessing the build configurator (in GA) to see how the ‘23s are optioned and I immediately get a “Out of Stock but not out of reach” message and a suggestion to contact my local dealer.

    Anyone else getting this?

Yep, its been that way for a little while. Its either an error or the distributor in the southeast has already committed all their trucks.

Hopefully just an error. I can’t imagine that in this economy that many people can afford to buy a $65k - $75k+ truck.

I was able to use a TN zip code and config a build. Nice to see the 3” lift available, but $4k is stout! I wonder how this compares to Rough Country or Wescott Designs?

The economy is still cooking and people have money. It won't be this way for long.

That's Toyota's standard line of BS blaming the dealerships, I went to my local dealer and they told me they have requested the options I would like but Toyota hasn't produced that combination or shipped to southeast region. It's been a year since I placed my order (Black Platinum with 6.5' bed and Advance package), so when they started making the I-Max engine I requested that engine. I have ordered & bought two Chevy 2500HD LT Duramax Diesel trucks since July for my business and I still wait for Toyota to produce 1 truck. I've had Toyota's for 30 years but loosing confidence in there ability to produce and tell the truth. I see no reason for a dealer to lie to me when you show up AND they have no cars to sell on their lots.
