Looking for a recommendation for all-terrain tires. I have it narrowed down to two based on what is available and they are a similar price.

    • FALKEN WILDPEAK A/T3W : LT265/70R18, Load Range E
    • WRANGLER DURATRAC : LT275/65R18, Load Range C
I drive a 2015 SR5, with recently installed leveling kit of Bilstein 5100s at the middle setting. I live in Colorado, and will be spending this winter at high elevation. In the summer I do moderate off-roading, mostly to get to trailheads. I'd say 80% of my driving is on the highway. I do not tow anything or load the truck with much weight.

Expected pros from Wildpeaks: taller/skinnier tire is probably marginally better in snow, also seems to be a more durable tire. The load range E I'm guessing would perform better driving on rocky off-roads

Expected pros from Duratracs: Load range C may be all I need for mostly highway driving? I'm also guessing that the ride will be smoother on the highway

My guess is that they will have similar MPG.

What do you all think? I'd say my most important factors are snow performance and durability, assuming that MPG is similar.

of those you like, Wildpeaks are superior. Good tread warranty, beefy looks, perform very well on road, wet, snow and off road, quiet for the design as well.

I've had duratracs and they were pretty good tires, although they did get pretty noisy. I've heard great things about the Falkens and I would get these next.

Wildpeaks. Have a set on my Lexus GX and they perform very well.

    Another vote for wild peaks.
As far as mpgs go, check the weights between the 2 tires. 5lb difference won’t be noticeable to you, but if each of those tires is more than 10-12# heavier than what you’re currently driving (which they will be if you’re on the stock duelers or Michelins), then you’re gonna feel it and see it at the pump.
