Ever make a mistake that turned out for the better? I swapped out license plate light bulbs for cheap LED lights, and when those failed, reinstalled what I thought were the original halogens. The halogens I put back in were bigger than the originals and ended up melting/distorting the lenses. I've since installed better LEDs, but the distorted lenses dimmed the light instead of making it brighter.

I like this version. Cool white LED instead of halogen yellow, and not too bright.IMG_20221011_201111.jpg IMG_20221011_201029.jpg

Once, while warming my cheese sammich, I left it in too long and melted the cheese. Never looking back.

Nice! So, did you let it ooze out, or did you squat-shart that puppy into a bowl of tomato soup?

No soup needed, as the tasty bundle of dairy and wheat already had a Tomato present. ;)

I broke up with a really sexy crazy person. Seemed easy out of my league at the time. It took a while to notice, but I’m SO much better off.

Had hoped this thread to be one.

    It wasn't.

You can save it. I’m guessing the OP meant for it to be ‘truck related’ mistakes that turn out alright. If you’ve got one, post up and get this back in track.

I don't think anyone can save it at this point.

Maybe not. The OP’s participation in the first derailing post kinda invited us to bring the dynamite. If you’ve got cool stories, maybe your should start another thread….

Timing is everything. I’m headed to bed, so I’ll resist interfering tonight anyway.

This is true, and yes, I gave in early. Thought there might be a reply from someone who sold their Tundra for another brand and came back to a Tundra later. Maybe someone else who started down the "mods" path, felt they made a mistake and recovered with a better option...
