2006 4.7 Tundra overheating

    Color fades. It's just glorified dye, so you which antifreeze someone used. It breaks down and transfers to parts as it cycles.

    Big things to look for are cloudiness (it's probably settled by now),particulate, and any layering (i.e oil or other heavier liquid) in it.

    No fluid loss from anywhere other than when it overheats and spews a bit. Hoses all look good. No noticeable swelling on anything.

    That’s really not good advice. Those flex a lite fans are really for if you have something custom and can’t fit a mechanical fan on a project. I would never run one on something I want to remain reliable.

    The factory fan clutch’s literally never fail on these trucks. Dealers don’t even stock them they go out so rarely.

    I hate to say it...but have you checked for HG leaks? After the car warms up, watch the radiator reservoir for any bubbling.
