I searched, but didn't find anything.

These fall mornings have brought forward a major annoyance. Max heat in the morning, max A/C in the afternoon, with 30 rocks of the switch to change temperature from LO-to HI. Is there no redundant climate control interface on the 14" display? Every truck I've recently owned you could set temp from digital display or by using physical buttons. Display was normally fastest, but dials also make large swings very easy. The rocker style switch is a nuisance.

Hopefully I'm just missing something, and this is very petty first world problem.. But still an inconvenience nonetheless.

Can you not set it to auto and have the vehicle maintain a comfortable temp for you?

I live in Canada and am no stranger to the situation you describe.

I used to drive a Prius for work and I used the auto feature

Admittedly, I haven't messed with auto. I thought that just regulated the rate of air flow after you dictate the desired temperature. I will explore that option today

I believe it will also adjust the temp to meet your set temp.

I would usually only adjust it by a couple degree instead of having to from min to max

That makes sense. Here I am posting another unnecessary thread because I hadn't thought about how that operation works. Thank you

That's what the forum is for brother!

Test it out I am only speculating based off the Prius I drove. Still waiting for my truck......

Many people believe an AC system will cool or heat faster if they put it on Hi or LO. The truth is it does not cool or heat any faster by doing this. It may max out the fan speed but most systems today will get to the desired temp just as fast using the auto setting. Hope this was helpful. Enjoy your truck.

YES. The a/c unit is on of the worst of all the vehicles I've own. The Ram was about as bad as the tundra. As for controlling the climate through the screen I brought that up in other threads. Wife has the 22 highlander and they have the capabilities of split screen. So you control the a/c and radio while viewing the map. Not sure what the designers where thinking when they came up with the system design.
I really didn't think I would miss the ability to control the climate through the touch screen but they way they have the switches set up it sucks. Hard to see the names of the switches when its bright outside and your wearing sunglasses.
