Good day, folks, and happy Thanksgiving to any of you celebrating it in Canada this weekend.
I was wondering if anybody was aware of an aftermarket trim panel that will fit in between the bumper and the tailgate, where you access the spare tire hoist.
The gap that Toyota left without any trim is driving me crazy. I almost feel like manufacturing my own trim panel.

    Alot of them
There are 2 ways that you can do it. I used an aluminum stick from Lowes. Mine covers the hole and it would have to be removed to access the spare. There is a threaded nut on each end that it attaches to. The other option is to do it in 2 pieces like @BlueRibbon4x4 did in post #579

Don’t know how bad your OCD may be, as I’m happy with my dual piece setup to be able to easily access the spare tire. But the hole isn’t centered on the truck. You’ll either have two same sized covers that leave different sized spaces between the access hole, or two different sized covers.
Or just do the single plate like @Tundra234 and yank it when you need the spare.

Thanks for the quick response from both of you!
I do have a bit of OCD when it comes to mods. I think I will explore either a polished aluminum flat bar, CNC’d with the spare access cut out, or a flat black bar.
    That’s a hard choice!
I have a polished aluminum Bully Step on the hitch receiver, with chrome duel exhaust tips. But..I also have the flat black raised TUNDRA letters, flat black small Canadian flag below it, and the flat black bumper trim with my charcoal paint.
I’m more on the side of flat black, as I am not a fan of over chroming:)
Thanks again for your quick responses!

I do like the idea for the CNC cutout. No matter what finish, that would look pretty slick.
