What happens if I push this button? Does it only work with a subscription or something?

If it’s active it will connect to Toyota call center I believe. If it’s not connected it will tell you and ask if you want to subscribe. Ask me how I know. Regardless it’s not like they will come after you like a criminal. Lol.

Your salesman must have done a shitty job explaining things on the truck. Since they didnt tell you anything about it Im sure they didnt go over the connected services with you and all the free stuff you get for several months when you buy a new Toyota. That button is used to contact emergency assistance in case of an accident or emergency. You can also set up the connected services with a live rep by pushing it if it hasnt been set up already.
