We tried getting one with rear air bags and tow mirrors in any color and it just wasn't an option, so we decided to order one exactly how I wanted it, which was SR5 Double Cab TRD Sport in Lunar Rock. I figure - if I have to wait and spend this much on a truck, I should get exactly what I want.

 

Yes sir! I wish the TRD Offroad would come with color matched trim for the mustache and rear bumper like yours. Now I'm having to spend time and money to do it myself. Other than that, I too waited for exactly what I wanted. I'm loving the truck so far.

 

I got the sport just because of the color matches parts and the all-black wheels.

Thanks! I’m just by Fort Collins, and I had a deposit through Pedersen, but Ken Garff just happened to have one on the way that wasn’t spoken for. This is the only sport I’ve seen so far in CO.

I am just down in Berthoud. Actually drove the show model at Pederson, which convinced me this was the truck to get. Was working with them and Mc Donald in Greeley but they couldn’t come up with what we wanted, so we ended up at Mountain States in Denver.

I'm tall as well and I had to get an upgrade package so I could get the adjustable seats. The 4-way adjustable were not comfortable at all. 8-way make a huge difference and they feel great.
This is my first Tundra so I don't have anything to compare it to but I don't think the seats are too short.

 

I needed up having to get the seat jackers. The bottom didn’t pitch up enough.

 

Huge jump from my 2010 to 2022 TRD Pro. Lots to figure out.

 

Picked up my Blueprint Limited over the weekend

 

the only time the blueprint looks awesome is in full daylight imo.

 

I finally bit the bullet and got a 3G yesterday. I passed on a LR SR5 OR a few months ago since I wanted a hybrid and I'm glad I waited. I'm not usually a white truck guy, but so far I'm liking it.

I think I'll keep this one stock

 

Here's my SR5 CM 4x4 from MN...

I came from a 2019 and have no regrets! Do not miss that 5.7 one bit. Luv this new v6tt setup. Drives miles smoother and super quite. Waiting on mu Westcott lift to show up. Currently riding on 20x9 +18mm with 35x12.5 on factory height. Slight rubbing at full lock even with liner pin back. Lift should hopefully cure that issue.

Picked up last night & loving it so far!

 

Picked up the truck today. The truck was delivered to the dealership around the middle of last month. Today when I picked it up after all of my installations. Still have a few items to wrap up but phase 1 is mostly complete.

 

Is that the covert bumper ? how heavy is that and did you install it yourself?

It is the CBI Covert. I didn’t install it myself. I had all of my stuff on hand at my Toyota dealership when the truck arrived and they did everything all at once.

 

Any rubbing with the 35s on stock ?

went from a 16 limited crewmax to 22 pro
going to miss the fat thirsty girl but the twin turbo is a beast

 

Finally got a hold of one myself. Sans the towing mirrors I wanted, pretty much just what I wanted.

Immediately added the 305/55/20 Ridge Grapplers, Black Rhino Arches Gunmetal rims, RC 1.75 leveling kit, and Truxedo Duece full roll tonneau with the front flip feature (really cool and will really come in handy with the 6.5 bed). Just a bit more poke than I wanted but as +12, was least I could do with these rims.

Since the AFE rear air sensor arms are on backorder, just made my own extensions pretty quick and easy to get the slight rake I like.

 

Looks good! How much higher is the rear with your mid?

 

It's ~ 3" higher than stock in back. I somehow gained ~ 2.5" or so with the 1.75 RC level. Weird but made it work with my extension brackets on the rear adjusters and I'm cool with the height.
