Hello everyone, new member here, excited to be in the group! Just wanted to give a quick introduction for those who care to know!

I've been a Tundra owner for over 9 years. I acquired my first Tundra in May of 2013 when I purchased a slightly wrecked 2001 Tundra SR5 TRD with 248K miles from my previous employer.. I replace the radiator, steering rack and eventually the front bumper and it was then roadworthy again. I used the heck out of that Tundra for the next 9 years, towing loads far greater than the rated tow capacity, got myself out of some pretty gnarly snow drifts with the fully locked rear differential, and have never been let down or stranded by my old Gen 1 Tundra! With a tear in my eye, I just sold it last month with 323K miles on it, and the engine still ran as smooth as it ever had. This truck truly converted me to Tundra's forever!

In May this year (2022), I purchased a charcoal gray 2015 Tundra SR5 Crew Cab 4x4 with 106K miles that was originally a Canadian Spec vehicle, imported and converted to the US spec a few years ago by a previous owner. It had the 1794 edition chrome wheels and brown leather heated seats, although I think the seats were an aftermarket addition by a previous owner as they do not have the 1794 engravings on them. It is NOT the 1794 edition since there are no 1794 emblems, logos or engravings indicated anywhere on the vehicle, but at first glance, it appears as though someone wanted to make it look like it was. I quickly changed out the chrome wheels, since I'm not a fan of Chrome and installed an aftermarket set of 20" wheels on it. It also has aftermarket running boards and soft bed cover, which I really love.

I'm excited to see how this new Tundra does this winter, and I hope that it will handle and perform as good in the snow as my 2001 Tundra has done over the past 9 years!
