    Hey all,
After owning Tacomas (and even a Toyota “pickup” back in the day) forever, I picked up a ‘22 Tundra just last night. I was poking around in and under it today, and my question will reveal that I am FAR from a mechanic. But I noticed this “duct” or tubing on the passenger side just forward of the rear wheel. It was partially taped closed where the two different sized pieces join, however the tape was loose and there was a large gap where the smaller piece enters the larger. I taped it completely closed myself, but then I thought I should probably ask what this is and be sure that gap isn’t supposed to be there haha. Thanks for any help.

Your picture did not come through for me, but it sounds like your catalytic converter was stolen. That could be confirmed if I could open the picture. I hope that is NOT the issue.

BTW, Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)!
