While the devastation of hurricane Ian is of epic proportions and many lost their home, livelihoods, personal belongings and even lives, picture 14 struck me as a car guy.

Does anyone have any experience with Superbirds? Is this real? Who would leave a million dollar vehicle outside in a hurricane? The wing snapped, it is probably fiberglass. Was the original wing fiberglass? The exhaust, roofline, wheels, bumper decal set, etc all look legit.

 

Prayers made for all that lost their life in the storm!! Going to be a long road to recovery!!!

 

That hurts me right in the feels.
It is possible that the car was in a garage which no longer exists.
Possible that it was an original, but more likely that it was a conversion, repro parts are fairly easy to find.

 

Yes the wing is fiberglass. It looks real to me from that picture.
BTW, those cars are only worth $200/$300 k.

 

Cabo got hit just as hard in 2014, the dreaded hurricane "Odile". I can relate to what Florida is going through, food and water can be a bitch, especially keeping it fresh and healthy while using the least amount of resources. If you think it's bad now, it will get worse... looting, scavenging, violence... all bound to happen if scarcity kicks in.

 

Reports of sharks, reys and other large fish floundering several miles inland from Fort Meyers.

The animals and wildlife. How can anything possibly survive a storm like that?

So, apparently, there was a DAYTONA in there as well. They are both REAL.

 

Also, LP5.

 

Florida is crawling with the super wealthy. Imagine all the exotics lost to this storm. And how about all the yachts? Its a damn shame

 

Gonna start scoping out Copart here pretty soon. Perhaps I can get that LP5 on the cheap, start a youtube channel, ask for Patreons and get people to pay for my LP5 restoration...
