    Hey all,
Im looking for advice on which dealer accessories are worth getting. I am eventually wanting to go bed rack and rooftop tent plus a bedcover. Are the Toyota ones good quality or would i be better off with other aftermarket? Rolling it into my loan would help appease the wife and our bank account.

    I'd say none of them.
Shop around, read reviews, and buy what you want when you can afford them.
Also installing them yourself will save you money.

Paying interest on a bedcover for 4 to 7 years is a bit silly....YMMV

I personally didn't roll any accessories into my loan. The math doesn't make sense to do so when I could pay cash for them..

OEM accessories also cost less when purchased separately, especially with free shipping.

If you can only afford to roll them into your loan, you cannot afford them. Save up and buy them after market. Don't pay interest on a rack and rooftop tent that are luxuries not necessities.

I would absolutely do the rock chip film/guard and window tint. The rest you can do without till you can go out of pocket with them.

I had them take off a few things before I purchased ~ Predator side step ($650 +/-) TRD Carpet floor mats ( $130 / $150+/-), I want to say there was something else but I forget.

EDIT: This was on my Tacoma. I don't pay attention to which site I'm on sometimes

Avoid tint if possible. they were trying to charge me $750 for tint that i think was just the 2 front windows with 50%. i stopped them before it was dropped off the truck for delivery at the dealer tho

    ^
The OEM (probably dealer-installed) tint on my 2014 front door windows sucks.
I need to get it replaced soon.
The passenger door is getting all distorted in the middle.
The film doesn't go to the edge.

The rear doors and back window, probably done at the plant, look great.

Yikes. My aftermarket ceramic for 4 windows, rear glass, and full windshield was only like $650. Nice catch not letting them do it.
