    In the late 80s I had a 280ZX, It was in great shape & had a recall (don't remember what for) I took it to Datsun they fixed the recall and suggested 5k+ in repairs. I said no & fixed the things that needed fixing myself for well under 1k.

    I saw a video a few days ago that had a 150-dollar cabin air cleaner repair the guy did himself for the 12 dollar filter.
