My cruise control works sometimes if I press the set button over and over.. and when it is set, I have to tap the breaks to stop the cruise. Anyone experienced this or can someone tell me what they think is wrong and how to resolve the issue. Thanks in advance

Your cruise control will disengage if you tap the brakes or press the cruise button again.

Definitely sounds like a wiring issue if you have to press it multiple times to engage.

Some times the button will not disengage cruise and I have to tap the breaks.

Your cruise buttons are wearing out. I don't know the smallest piece you would have to replace to correct that.
