Yeah, idk it’s strange but it seems Canada may do things differently. I’d be ticked myself if that’s how it came stock.

 

So would I as those wheels are a differentiator in many ways.

 

There’s a trd pro in my town that has the correct wheels. I’m in NS Canada

 

Hope you didn’t get hosed by the dealer. They could probably get north of $2k USD for those

These are the after market 20” trd rims with 295/60/r20. I ordered 295/70/r18s for the stock rims but it’s a 4-6 month wait for some reason. It looks pretty good with the 20s though

 

It did. I ordered 295/70/r18s for the stock BBS rims. I didn’t want to wait 4-6months with the imo too small stock wildpeaks. So I ordered these 20” forged TRD rims in the mean time

 

Once the 295/70/18s are in I will be putting those back on. The 18” bbs are currently in my garage.

 

It takes you 4-6 weeks to get tires? It takes me 24 hours to get pretty much any tire I want

 

Had the trifecta at work today

 

Man some of y’all are so damn lucky to leave in a state with mountains and beauty like that! Can see yours in the background and so jealous. Yea I know I can move there if I wanted but too many family and friends in La……NICE!

 

It's a choice you have to make for yourself. Now that I have kids making a move like this would be tough, I get that, but outside of them there aren't enough friends or family to keep me out of the mountains after realizing how depressed I was living in a city. This time of year my boss gets InReach texts from people in our department telling her they'll be late because they're packing an elk out. In the winter, a nice snow storm ends up with 3/4 of the staff taking the morning off to ski. And we joke about having an informal requirement for new hires to drive either Tacoma's or Tundra's

I attempted the today and failed miserably. I measured at the base failing to realize it tapers out towards the top. I cut my my board to 60.5".
It will catch in the slot but there are huge gaps at the top of the board.

I'm shopping for vinyls, I'm waiting for the first coat of gorilla glue spray on rubber to cure, and I have some hardware waiting to be placed.

I'd usually attach a pic of each item, but this is me phoning it in. Everything on this Home Depot receipt, except the air filters, was purchased for use with this project.

The Husky anchors will go random on the face of the board and the two screw eyes will go on the top for additional randomness.

 

New here. I’ll add to the fun. Came from an ‘09 Rock Warrior that I had for 12 yrs and put 262K on. Stumbled upon this in transit. I got it in 4 weeks, 2 weeks ago.

 

New shoes too.
