Hey guys so I’m on a bit of a journey right now. My build is a hybrid of old school and new school. My tundra themed after the Marty Mcfly pickup and most people find the theming interesting. It’s evolved over time right now I’m on 17” RW replicas on 35’s. I know they are replicas made for land cruise 5x150 bolt pattern but they have a higher offset than the originals which is why they stick past the fender(a plus in my opinion.) I am looking for replacement 17” wheels. I don’t want the regular methods or icons although awesome, they just aren’t the look I’m going for. I’m looking for something with a deep lip and higher offset. I’ve struggled as not even most of the know companies do not currently make a 17” wheel with these designs. I wanted a 17x9 or 17x10 with the general design I mentioned. For reference attached is a picture of the truck as it sits. Feel free to comment! The tires are brand new and I like 17’s so I figured it was worth askingupload_2022-9-21_15-31-55.jpg

Truck looks awesome. I used to have MRW’s they drove well but offset was wrong. It was an expensive way of learning what style of wheel I like haha. Apparently the style I like is extremely hard to find or custom made. Was looking for a 17x10 -20 offset to -24 offset upload_2022-9-21_16-2-23.jpg

RRW wheels have a bit of a lip, and are 17”. They are only 8.5” wide though, but 0 offset. Here are mine with and without the protection rings installed. Mine are the RR7s, but there’s a few different styles. Very lightweight and strong as well.

Those wheels on your truck look great! I agree they’re lightweight and incredibly strong. I wanted something with a deeper lip but as much as I’ve searched I haven’t found a single wheel in 17” that had a decent lip to it. I don’t see why they don’t make this for the tundra other than it may not be popular. I can’t assume that it’s a structure issue because they make 18’s

Thank you, I like it too but the wheel design feels very outdated in my opinion. On top of that the wheels need to be painted and it’s either I do it or I pay to get them powder coated. Figured I’d look at options

I’ve been looking all day and I just about narrowed it down to that first link. Even then custom offsets was no help I couldn’t find a single truck anywhere on the internet running the style I’m am looking for in the correct size. I will continue searching though. Maybe I can check the land cruiser wheels.

You'll have more options and they'll fit over the large discs/calipers better if you bump up to 18s. You keep saying "higher offset" but wanting a lip. You know that the lower/negative offsets are what will get you your barrel look, right?

Yeah I refer to it as high offset but technically speaking it’s completely wrong terminology. I have brand new tires for 17s on the truck I would trade for a setup but there’s not many tundra guys in the community down here. Extremely hard to find deals on used wheel setups especially good looking sets
