    Yeah I know it's a long shot but what the hell, it doesn't hurt to try.

    If you are planning to eventually swap out your transfer case for an aftermarket non-Toyota version, then you will need a spud shaft.

    What's a spud shaft? It's an adapter that will mate the male 22 spline Tundra transmission output shaft to a 23 spline Mopar (Dodge/Jeep) female input shaft of an Atlas, NP205 (NP2xx), or any other domestic vehicle made transfer case.

    It'll look like this:

    Nobody makes them so they have to be custom made, which costs an arm and a leg, unless you buy in bulk.
