New to this forum... has anyone figured out how to wiring a 3rd brake light on a camper shell? The dealership was zero help. I tried to do it myself and I can get it to light up but it is very dim. I believe this is because of low voltage. Maybe the fact they are LED? Someone said they make a module but I can't find anything online... help?

I would wire it to your 7 way round personally. Idk if a module exists but you can tap into the wiring on the backside of the bumper. You can grab 12v power for internal lights and the brake light as well. The cover of the 7 way has the wiring diagram so you tap the corresponding wire on the backside of the plug. Not very hard at all

That's brilliant. Question- is the second wire on the topper brake light a ground or negative? If it's a negative does it have to originate from somewhere specific? This unit came prewired but I want the brake light on the truck battery and the interior lights and fan on the house battery so I'm redoing it.

I used the negative wire on the same harness and it works great... IMG_5234.jpg Thanks for your help!

Very nice setup. My first time seeing one of those AT Overland toppers on a 3rd gen. Got more pics?

I just picked up the Atlas last week after a 7 month wait. Took it out for the weekend and its really comfortable. A couple more mods on the truck next month then going setup the interior... maybe I'll start a new thread.

Thanks for the pics. Will be picking up an atlas in late november. Nice to see what it will look like on these trucks.
