My2022 has a clunking noise when going over bumps. I have raised my air suspension and distance from ground to wheel well is 38 1/4 inches on the normal mode. I don’t believe it’s the truck bottoming out. I do have the rear window rattle when I put it down but this seems to be coming from further back. I have checked the composite bed and the Torx bolts are tight and the tailgate doesn’t seem to be loose. Has anyone the same problem? I don’t know if it’s only happening on trucks with the air suspension. Any advice or thoughts?

My SR5 with air suspension did that from day one. It was mostly caused by the slop in the tailgate pivot on the passenger side. I put some heavy felt around the gate male pivot portion and tie wrapped it in place. Annoyance cured.

Will check that. If that’s the case it shouldn’t make a difference if the truck has air suspension

I had the bump stop noise as well, the 'forum suggested adjustment' took care of that by raising the static 'N' position and it was more of a dull sound whereas the tailgate was a muffled metal on metal sound.
