First time in this 3rd Gen forum.... (I have a 2021 1794) I just put a deposit on a 23' Pro and the dealer couldnt give me any info on pricing/availability/release date or anything. Just wanted to know if anyone here had any info on that, or is there a certain time of the year they start to produce them. Dealer said possibly looking at a year+ wait.

Did you put a deposit in at Servco? I put a deposit in for a Pro last year with no luck but also put a deposit in for a Limited Trd Offroad in January and still waiting.

Salesman doesn’t keep me updated whatsoever and I reach out to him here and there.

Two inquiries back he stated end of September and one inquiry back said he he just doesn’t know when it will arrive.

So the year+ wait id a possibility for sure. But you may get lucky. Honestly started to look at the Raptor since I couldn’t get a Pro. But that $25k dealer markup is just nutz, so just trying to be patient and wait for the tundra.

Yeah its at Servco, they had a lottery for a cancelled white pro at Waipahu last Friday.. they said if i got it i had to pick the truck up that day so i know some pro's came in, but i didnt win it. Hopefully doesnt take a year, but i went in knowing it could take that long. Just hope my 21' 1794 is still worth a decent amount by then for the trade.:playball: Ive bought 4+ brand new superduty's and the sales guy that i knew from before is a manager now, i contacted him about a raptor and he said 80k msrp + 30k markup.. lol i said hell no and he came back saying he thinks he can get the markup down to 15k but i still wont do it... btw he said theres 3 raptors on the way

Oh for sure that 21 Tundra is gonna get you some $$. Maybe more via private sale. I sold my 18 Tacoma TRD Pro for more than I bought it for Private.

Yeah, I just cannot chalk up the markup on these other brands. I do appreciate the MSRP with Servco.

I came across that white TRD Pro too and salesman put me in on the lottery as well. Of course, no luck again. Given up on the pro for now.

I’ll try again probably in 2024. Hopefully production is up and much easier to get one….

Yeah, i hope so too.. but looking at how hard its been to get even a Tacoma Pro (even before covid) its just a waiting game.. just sucks that you have to put down 3k and just sit on a list. The salesman just called and gave me a little more info...Did they tell you what number you are on the list? the salesman did say that they had 12 allotment for the 2023's and that i was 11. They were predicting getting 1-2 a month starting Jan next year so they are thinking at worse Dec timeframe

Nah, my sales guy didn’t give me any info honestly. Think they only got 4 in at the time of the first lottery. Then the random one that just happened for the white pro.

As for my limited, I was forced to order the hybrid so I could get it sooner. My sales guy did mention the wait time which coincides with what you were told. He did mention that the lottery will probably not happen as the wait list starts. So if you wait for 1-2 a month, you at least won’t need to deal with a lottery.

Lottery totally reminds me when we were trying to buy a house for almost two years and lottery system with Gentry, Hoopili and Koa Ridge. Hawaii is the only state where you actually hate lotteries lolol

Yup, lol when i told my bank i was waiting for a lottery for a truck they didnt believe it... and the 3 servco dealers here all do it differently... Honolulu doesnt do a lottery and just has a deposit/wait list.. Windward and Waipahu do only the lottery thing and dont have a wait/deposit list but it will be interesting to see how it goes, Honestly i would rather have a 2023, hopefully they update/worked out some of the problems for the new year
