Just passing this on to anyone that has the Fyre fly’s leds. I put them in and the map lights and the cargo lights cause the issues with the key fob. I was just in touch with them by text and he knows about the issue and sending me out new ones that will stop the issue. I ordered mine thru Amazon the 3014 series. He has his number on there to text him. He also said they will have prototypes soon to try also.

Anyone know if the LED bulbs from headlight revolution cause issues?

The first set I purchased off Amazon caused the same issue with my key fob (Autogine). I wasn’t able to lock or unlock the truck if the cargos light were on. If I turned the cargo lights off from the inside, it would work again. I definitely wanted to fix this issue before the Alaskan winter hit.

I decided to purchase another set (Marsauto) and they worked great….no more key fob issues. These are the ones that did work: https://amzn.to/3xTns6H

Wow, weird problem to have. It's never crossed my mind to switch out any interior lights in my vehicles, but that's good to know.

I still think push button start is a solution in search of a problem that causes new problems.

It’s has to do with the resistors on these led lights that’s effecting the tundra key fob.

I found that it was specifically the exterior cargo light, the interior ones were cheap Amazon ones but it still works fine. Swapped out just the exterior cargo light and all was well.

It has fixed my “exterior” fey fob issue but still undetermined on the inside. I have a fresh battery and sometimes still get the proximity “key not detected” alert when trying to use push start in my 2020.

It usually takes a bit of a key shake and by the 3rd push the truck starts. I’m sure if I replaced all the interiors from the faulty Autogine LED bulbs, I wouldn’t have the problem but I’m lazy and just dealing with it.

PrecisionLEDs put out a a fix on YouTube using EMI tape. I just had same issue after my swap to LEDs, going to give this a shot.

I just installed these Fyre Fly LED lights on my 2015 Tundra. I contacted them before purchasing and they told me they added shielding to the resistors on the cargo lights. No problems with the key fob. They are way brighter than stock and they look great!
