2018 tundra dc sr5 rear seat removal

So I need a little help I'm in the process of sound deaden the truck I finished with the doors, and now I would like to move on to the rear wall of the cab. I cant seem to find any how to tips on removing the rear seat and box under the seat. Anybody have any it looks like about a dozen bolts and lift the seats up of the hook and fold the seats forward to have access to the rear wall. Any help would be appreciated thanks

 

The OEM underseat storage is just held in with a few bolts, I’d remove that first. If your goal is to only access the back wall you just need to loosen the bolts on the floor seats enough to be able to move the seats up and off the hooks/loops on the back of the seats which will then fold down. Overall should be 15mins or less for that.

 

If you look under the seats once the storage box is removed, you will see where they bolt to the back wall. There are 6 bolts if I recall, and also the bolts that mount to the floor. As mentioned, once the bolt are removed, you will.need to lift the whole seat up a couple of inches to release the seatback hooks that slip into the back wall retainers.
