I vaguely remember that but I have no idea what happener with them.

Fait points. I've never had issues with cutting speed but them I'm not a pro so probably havent spent enough time on saws to notice. I've never had issues with Husqvarnas I've used, just always run Stihl myself.

It seems like the older Husqvarnas were much better, though that seems to be true of everything.

I will always miss the utilitarian / storage of my 1st gen Ridgeline. But I am getting better mileage on the tundra. :)

I did, I never noticed any issues with the hood but they fixed it anyway

So I looked at the Honda 720 snowblower on the weekend. Looks nice and likely the right one. I was a bit surprised that every Honda dealer charges $90 in freight and PDI for a snowblower.

Next I plan to look at the Toro 60v battery line. I keep hearing good things about it and I love that it's quieter. Won't wake up the neighbours at 6 am.

If you're looking at battery options check out ones where you can transfer batteries between multiple tools - once you get a couple batteries and chargers you can save money by buying tools only. I'm currently working on Greenworks 80v system - have the weed whacker and leaf blower already and eyeing up the lawnmower if we decide to part with our gas lawnmower and I can save $150 on the lawnmower by buying the tool only.

Hmmm... Good point... I committed years ago to the Ryobi 18v system for most of my stuff. I know it's not professional quality but for my purpose it's the right price and fit.

I have no plans on replacing my Toro gas lawn mower anytime soon. It more than meets my needs.

It will probably come down to gas vs battery in the end.

That doesn't seem to out of line for a Platinum. I paid around that for a 120,000km/84 month ECP Platinum warranty. The "Heninger Advantage" is likely some dealer add on package which is the main way Canadian dealers sell without "market adjustments". Depending on what it includes, it might not be a horrible deal. I had to pay $900 for one but it actually provides enough potential value that it wasn't walking away from the deal on.

Oh shit, I didn't notice the protection package, ceramix window treatment etc. Yeah, he got fucked.

I mean, the Tundra is nice but if I have $70K+ to burn on a truck I'm buying a 3/4 or 1 ton GMC.

That's how I like my trucks. Don't need extra crap breaking or beeping at me because it doesn't like the way I drive.

My only serious grip with GM trucks is you have to option them out to the expensive trims to get bucket seats with the full center console. Otherwise you're stuck with the stupid flip down console which is a design which needs to be horsewhipped, tossed into a vat of scalding water, dragged down the concrete, beaten with an iron pipe then finally taken out behind the woodshed and shot. Fuck flip down consoles.

I think that's only true of GMCs (all of them) and Chevy 1500s. Pretty sure that Silverado 3500 LT I priced out is with optional bucket seats and that's the lowest trim level you'd really want anyway. Just checked a Sierra 3500 SLE and no bucket seats.

Weirdly enough I don't mind the bench seats at all. Most of my work trucks have had them so fairly used to them. My center console doesn't have much stuff in it in my Tundra. Definitely been a few times I wish I had the bench seat in the front.

For anyone who uses XM (like me), there is a decent 24 month code you can get via chat or calling in.

Normal reps won't grant it, but loyalty will. I was set to expiry and price increase in November, so it was perfect timing for me.

    Found it on RedFlagDeals.

I canceled mine last year. $5 a month is a decent price and just about as low as I have ever seen it.

    It's the most I'll pay.

After my 3 month free trial with truck, I got on a $5 plan and have been on $5 deals since.

The nice thing with this one is, it's 24 months. So you don't have to deal with them for a while.

To get the $5. Just call or chat in and say you want to cancel as it's too expensive during these times. They offer a crap deal, decline it. They'll offer another crap deal, decline it. Tell them you want the $5 (or whatever deal you can find online).

Apparently there is a $5 "Platinum" deal that happens ever year around black Friday too

With taxes and the royalty fee, it comes to $6.71.

    That is a good deal.

Is it me or is XM's channels all seem to have bass turn up?

This one I'd rather go to someone in Canada, I got a set of Roadmaster helper springs, I set it at the highest setting, most things are good but the adjusting rod is pretty seized, can probably come lose with some TLC but I just don't have the time, if someone pays shipping or come pick it up, its theirs.

    That's a good deal too.

I don't listen to Howard Stern, so won't try and pursue any changes to my 24 month of the normal plan.

What's funny is, I renewed with the 24month code on Oct 2nd. Just goes to show you, the plans should be $5 for everyone, all the time. But I guess they make money who don't worry about paying the $15-25/month and/or forget they have it.
