Been browsing this and a few other similar forums for awhile now. Finally decided to join

    I have a 2011 4.6L dual cab Grade Tundra (2WD) with ~210k. Bought her at 200k.
I also have a 96 T100 with 325k that I bought for $1k tax title and license out the door. She needs a lot of TLC but it runs and drives.

Been a Toyota fan my whole life with a 2004 Camry, 2011 Corolla, and then a 2017 Camry I sold back to the dealer for more than I bought it for intially (thanks covid!). Finally took the leap into trucks as a homeowner and will never look back.

Had the Tundra now for 2 years and its been the most fun I have ever had driving. Got it for a steal at the dealer as it sat in the lot unloved since nobody else here in Iowa wants a truck that isnt a 4x4! Best part is, it was a Texas truck so litteraly zero rust anywhere!

I have done a lot of basic refreshing on it since I bought it including plugs, all fluids, the serpentine belt and tensioner to get rid of the squeal, and new tires (Toyo AT3s, love Toyos tires they have served me well).

In the middle of doing brakes. Replacing pads (Hawks), rotors (cryo slotted), stainless braded flex lines, as well as rebuilding the calipers. Replacing the slide pins and tensioner clips too.

In the near future I am looking to get katzkins and new fitted carpet (as well as some dynamat while I have it all apart!) and put in a new headunit (thinking a Pheonix Tesla style). Mostly basic mods to improve the enjoyment my daily driver and bring it back into this decade of tech.

Here is the Tundra. Excuse the mess while I am in the middle of doing the brakes

And to brag a little, check her out! 210k miles. Zero rust anywhere. Coming from New England and now in the midwest, never had a brake job this easy... of course the tradeoff with it being a TX truck is that the clear coat is peeling on the hood and now the roof. I dont mind much though, just gives me an excuse to get her reapainted down the line some day

And for the T100 lovers here she is in all her 325k glory. Some college kid backed into it in a parking lot first week I bought it but all the lights still work. Dont find quality like that anymore!
