Bought my truck 2 years ago @50k miles and it came with 2 original and 2 new Michelin ltx at2s. Now at 75k and the originals are done (impressive mileage for those 2 OGS IMO). Thought about replacing the 2 but the new at2s don’t have the same look and replacing 2 tires never ends. Done a lot of research- I Don’t want e rated tires- I drive through ATL every day (stop & go over speed humps and cracked roads). Should I go original size (275/65/18) BFG trail terrains or go up an inch to 33s (275/70/18) general grabber apts? Cost comes out the same with a slight edge going to BFG because Costco gives you the 5 year road hazard for free.

Im not a fan of bfg’s in the rain, however definitely go with 275/70, they look night and day nicer

Will those 275/70s fit on stock suspension with no trimming? I have a stock SR5/SX

275/70 is a better look and I run the KO2. I had both sizes and neither require trimming on a stock setup. If you space out (I.e. 20mm offset) you’ll just have to remove the front mud flap no other mod.

    Too many, but not enough....
BFG's get a bad rap these days, but they are a best seller for long time for a good reason imo. There may be better choices if you are doing alot of wet driving but it has never been an issue for me, granted I am in a desert climate. I have had BFGs on numerous vehicles and they have always performed great on and off road and they are tougher than nails.

most 275/70-18s are e load, so be aware. They do fit stock wheels and stock suspension no problem.

I went with the KO2s in 275/70/18. No rubbing. Definitely look better than the stock 275/65/18 Michelins. The ride is fine so far not much difference @ 40 PSI around town. They produce a little more noise but not bad- will see how much noise grows as the miles climb but happy with the look and ride quality after first 100 miles.

If Costco sell them they know how to balance them, it’s only the small shop don’t invest on road force balance and make them shakes. I go 275/70-18 KO2…best looking tires
