    Hey Gang,

    I have a 2015 TRD 4x4 off road.
In 2021 I added fox 2.5 coils w/ cambers UCAs. I opted for the 2.5 inch lift. It rode a little nose high, but without a shell it was okay for me.

Then I got the shell & Decked drawers in the rear. It really rode nose high after that.it was sagging pretty bad. Wasn’t a fan. Went to Deaver and they added a few leafs to bring it up in the rear. It brought up the rear but I’m still about 1 inch lower in the back.

I use this truck for camping and overlanding. When I’m loaded out in the bed and have my RTT on top it’s a total of about 750-1,000 lbs on the rear.

What do you all recommend I do to beef up the rear without affecting the overall ride performance too much?

shackles? Airbags? I’m exploring at this point and am open to all option/opinions.

    thank you all in advance!
    Dylan

I’d say either airbags if you are good with the height and just need them when weighed down or coachbuilder shackles if you want to permanently add height to the rear.

I’d like to permanently add height. Maybe the shackles would work. What size shackles would I need? Easy install?

    Too many mods to come
What deaver springs did you add? They can make a custom pack for the weight you’re carrying. Did you add shackles also?

This setup attached has full decked system packed with tools, second battery, compressors etc.

I recently installed the 3” Coachbuilder Shackles as my Bulletproof lift was sitting lower in the rear. Very pleased with the results.

I asked Deaver to customize it for what I was doing. I brought it there fully loaded after they did the initial ad a leafs (2) and they recommended not doing anything more to the leafs. They did recommend airbags but I wanted to do research before doing anything more.
I like the way your setup looks

Deaver can make you a custom leaf pack. I run their expo pack which allows around 800-1,000 lbs extra.
Also using TC shackles. I'm slightly higher at the rear but when loaded it's about even with front.

It’s seems I need to add some shackles to get the height I need. If it doesn’t ride properly I will make adjustments.

thank you all for your help!

The dobinsons leaf springs would be a good choice as well. But RAS would be better for the price.

Depending on how exciting you get with offroading, i would steer clear of the airbags. I had Alcan make a spring pack for me. Doing so kept a soft ride and good rear axle articulation while also increasing payload considerably.
