Learning a lot about my, new to me, 2011 Tundra and it ain't no GMC or Chevy. Not as easy to work on and I would hate to have to replace the starter or alternator in the field, which I've had to do before. Although this Forum has helped ALOT!

It appears my Tundra, with 61+K on it, has not had the AB60F transmission, differential or transfer case fluids changed. So I plan to do a 6qt “drain and fill” on the transmission using Toyota's ATF (00289-ATF WS). The reason I'm using Toyota's ATF is because I don't think it's a good idea to mix ATF brands. Any thought on this? (by the way, the local Toyota dealer wants to do a complete “flush” of the system and from what I see on the internet that doesn't seem like a good idea).

On the differential and transfer case the Owner's Manual calls for 75W-85 GL-5 for the differentials and SAE 75W-90 / API GL-5 for the transfer case. Seems only a few brands have the 75W-85. However, Raveno, a brand I'm not familiar with, has a “kit” that's contains 7qt of the 75W-85 and 2qt of the 75W-90. Anyone used this brand and what were their results?

    Or I'm over think this?
