Is that the light smoke or regular smoke? It looks kinda light compared to the picture on their website. I too was looking at the smoked lense, my VLEDS will be delivered next month when they restock the cargo lights.

I purchased Auxito leds in white and red off of Amazon for now. I'll purchase the vleds when they are back in stock. For some reason they look yellow in the pic but they are 6000K bright white in person. Here's the link...

It is regular smoked as it is $110. It looks a little light when off the vehicle. The light smoke is a custom color and is $160. Here's a few pics installed.

Here are some more pics and although i like them i did notice on mine a significant gap at the top. Im going to reinstall them and see if i can fix the issue. If not im going to probably send them back. I emailed alpharex about the issue and am waiting to hear back.

They look incredible with the mgm. I read about the gap issues with the older styles but not with the new ones.

I noticed in the pic that you circled the gap in, the quarter panel gaps gradually widen along the tail gate as you go up. The tail lights line up with everything else so I'm assuming that every truck will be the same as it is how the box is assembled at the plant. I believe you should be able to hold the tail light up while tightening it to even the gaps out on the bottom and top. A nylon spacer on the lower bolt of the tail light might also line the gap up better.

The gaps on my truck are the exact same as yours. It appears that the AlphaRex tail lights should be more angled along the bottom and top to line up with the box.

The AlphaRex are a huge improvement over the stock tails and it's great to hear that you were able to reduce the gap enough! Barely noticeable now in my opinion.

Thanks. The top 2 are from today and the bottom 2 are from yesterday. I would like the drivers side to be a cm or to two higher but i can deal with that.

Had to replace a broken tail light. Not regretting this choice. Got the alpharex pro’s and I love them. No gap issues with my set.

I'm surprised at how white they look inside. The leds look like an off white.

The color depends on how much direct light its getting. They couldnt bee too grey since they do turn amber.

They have full blackout options. I preferred these with the white to give it a little more look. I really like them so far.

Yeah here’s the alpha black. I like them a lot. Only gripe is the amber tubes aren’t extremely bright in direct sunlight, however you can see the individual amber LEDs no problem.

I read this correctly and I just assumed yours were alpha black. I think you ordered the black as the alpha black are completely black.

Those are the alpha black. There is no chrome inside like on the regular black. When in direct sunlight they appear lighter than when in shade.

That's what I thought! Thank you for clarifying that as Foxtrot704 stated there was an all black version as he also must have thought that they were the black version.

Regardless, I think the alpha black is just the right amount of contrast. With mbm they should add a little more contrast.
